New England Botanic Garden Elopement | Diana & Maysarah | Boylston, MA

Venue: New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill // Diana’s Dress: Handmade in traditional Crimean Tatar fashion from Ukraine // Maysarah’s Suit: Traditional Bengali Sherwani

Diana and Maysarah’s wedding at the New England Botanical Garden was calm, colorful, and full of heart. They kept things intimate—just a few close people, surrounded by wild greenery and soft light filtering in through the glass ceiling. The energy was peaceful, but full of personality. Maysarah wore a traditional Bengali sherwani, detailed and elegant, with a soft pinkish shawl that mirrored Diana’s Crimean Tatar wedding dress—flowing, intricately embroidered, and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Both outfits had roots, stories, and meaning stitched right into them, and together they looked effortlessly cool.

There was something powerful about how quietly joyful the morning felt. Lots of smiles as they listened to each others vows, the imam’s gentle presence, and a calm, grounded energy made the whole thing feel rooted and real. Everything was thoughtful and personal without ever feeling overdone. And once the formalities were over, they walked out of the garden beaming like two people who just did exactly what they were meant to. Simple, heartfelt, and full of love—that’s the kind of day I’ll never get tired of photographing.
