There’s just something about Herb Lyceum at Gilson’s in Groton, MA that always makes a wedding day feel kind of magical. that’s why I always love when I get the opportunity to photograph here. The place has this calm energy; part garden, part greenhouse, part secret hideaway, and it couldn’t have been a better match for J & B. The day rolled along with that perfect mix of laughter and emotion, and during their first look they shared private vows that hit right in the feels as I was doing my best not to fog up the viewfinder.

From there, the good energy just kept building. The ceremony was heartfelt, the people were all in, and by dinner, everyone was buzzing, maybe from emotion, maybe from that incredible farm-to-table menu Herb Lyceum is known for. Every dish looked straight out of a magazine, but tasted like the best home cooked meal you’ve ever had. Once the tent lights came on, the night turned into a pure celebration of dancing and laughing while going into full party mode.

This Herb Lyceum wedding had everything I love — genuine people, relaxed style, and that wild mix of heart, humor that makes it all unforgettable. The kind of day that reminds me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.
